Dennis V. Healey

Dennis began his life in the entertainment business in
the early 1970's. As bassist and lead singer for his
band, AXE, he played with some of the biggest names in
music including Aerosmith, J. Geils Band, Boston, and
The Eagles to name a few.
Dennis was forced to place his love of entertaining on
the back burner in December of 1985 with the birth of
his son, Matthew,
and it would be another 15 years later until
Dennis would find a new avenue to pursue his passion
in entertainment.
The middle school his
son attended was hosting a lip-synch
competition and the young entertainer was excited to be
performing Frank Sinatra's, 'Luck Be a Lady'. There was
just one problem. The gymnasium lights would be the only
source of lighting and the stereo system would be
nothing more than a personal-sized boom-box.
Dennis had the idea to use the equipment that he
had accumulated over the past few years while playing in
bands recreationally. The kids performed with a
state-of-the-art stereo system and a colored light show
free of charge. The event was a great success and lead
to Dennis to start Diamond DJ.
Through referrals and repeat customers Dennis built
on Diamond DJ, gaining experience in all kinds of events
and event services/products to form Diamond Events LLC.
